File sizes vary, so some samples may take longer to load than others. Each sample will open in a new page.
All samples are part of a larger curriculum and are intended for an external, client audience, but often repurposed for internal training.

This first video was intended to up-sale clients to a new product offering and demonstrate its benefits AND ease of use. Created in Captivate and published to YouTube, it was a cross-functional project involving Marketing and Sales.
Marketing Captivate Sample
(creation and editing by Cynthia Henthorn)
These four Captivate modules are based on real-world scenarios and represent samples from two separate curricula, that consist of eight lesson modules each.

Working with our Sales Team, I created a video that highlighted the product's key capabilities. The Sales Team had a problem -- they had too many prospects and too few sales reps. So they wanted a video that their small team could use to scale an introduction to the product and free up the reps to concentrate on next steps with interested prospects.
As such, many of the terms used in the video are referenced in alignment with the product's unique offerings in this market niche.
(Hence to anyone NOT in this market, these terms' meanings and significance may be lost, since this is not designed as a training video.)
Since the launch of this video, the Sales Team has grown exponentially AND has a Sales Eng team with which to partner. Still, these teams use this video and it is one of the most watched ones I have created for this company.
Sales Demo Introducing Product to Prospects
(design, creation, and voiceover by Cynthia Henthorn)
The following sample acts as a prerequisite to internal new hire and external client on-boarding. Unlike most of my other samples, this work does not have voiceover. One of the requirements of this module was that it would need frequent updating. Emphasizing ease of self-navigation over a voice-led instruction allowed me to easily make frequent edits and keep the module up-to-date.

Based on a real-world scenario, these next tutorials introduce learners to a new feature.

How much fun can you have with Articulate? This next example is a concept lesson that leverages a variety of options in Articulate Engage.
(designed, created and written by Cynthia Henthorn)
Please note that this module starts and ends with music, but does not have voiceover.
Articulate Sample with Simulations
(design, creation, voiceover and script by Cynthia Henthorn)
This module is number 7 in an 8-part training series. Created in Articulate, this example includes simulations built in Captivate and added through an Articulate Engage template.
This concept tutorial, produced in Camtasia, walks learners through an industry training topic and is intended as a training as well as a tool to drive client adoption of the new industry practice. A real-world scenario helps learners identify with the industry practice illustrated in the video, while engaging graphics create a mental picture of what the industry practice means to the learner's business.
Concept Tutorial Using Camtasia
(design, creation, voiceover and script by Cynthia Henthorn)
The next concept tutorial was one of our most popular training videos of the DFA curriculum, averaging 76 user page views per month. Built in PowerPoint, the training video was recorded using Camtasia.
(design, creation, voiceover and script by Cynthia Henthorn)
These next three video tutorials produced in Camtasia are from a technical product curriculum hosted on YouTube.
The steps of each task are written in the context of real-world scenarios, common to the intended audience's business.
Special attention was paid to voice inflections, callouts, and Camtasia's pan-and-zoom feature to engage the learner's attention.
(design, creation, voiceover and script by Cynthia Henthorn for these three examples)
This concept tutorial walks learners through the "why" behind part of their workflow in a technical product.

Below are samples of the types of PowerPoint Decks, Guides, and Workbooks that I have created for instructor-led training. (The Guide and Workbook were created using InDesign.)
Classroom Training Ppt Sample 1
Classroom Training Ppt End-of-Day Quiz Game based on "Jeopardy"
(Accompaniesd Ppt Sample 1 and intended to be used with a SmartBoard)
Getting Started Guide -- Classroom Take-Away
(Also, available in our LMS, it was the most popular download.)
(This workbook originally accompanied an earlier version of Ppt Sample 1, but was replaced by Captivate test simulations that I created to be used for classroom lesson practice sessions.)
(This Ppt, currentlyy in use, is accompanied by a workbook with exercises and an end-of-day quiz.)
